Michiel R. Noe, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Michiel R. Noe M.D., F.A.C.O.G. has been a resident of El Paso since 1991. He is a graduate of Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency with Texas Tech at R.E. Thomason General Hospital. While there he received honors including First Place in Resident Research and Special Excellence in Laparoscopic Procedures. He remained on Texas Tech Faculty teaching other medical students and residents until 2001.
In 2001, Dr. Noe opened Sun City Women’s Health Care on the East Side of El Paso and has been practicing on the East Side ever since. Since the beginning, he has dedicated himself to establishing Sun City Women’s Health Care as a leader in innovation in women’s health care. The practice has now grown to one that employs approximately 12 professionals including a certified sonographer, a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. The practice prides itself in being able to provide services in-house to alleviate the patient’s inconvenience in having to travel away for labs, sonograms, fetal monitoring, and minor outpatient surgery.
Dr. Noe has a special interest in treating Pregnancy, Heavy Menstrual Periods, Menopause, Urinary Incontinence, Contraception / Sterilization, and provides Annual Well Woman Exams. He is very experienced in procedures such as Novasure Ablation, Essure Tubal Occlusion, Nexplanon Contraception Implant and in fact trains other physicians in these procedures.
Dr. Noe has practiced at all of the area hospitals and in the past has served as the chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Del Sol Medical Center. However, he now limits his practice to Sierra Providence Eastside Medical Center. There, he has served in the past as its Chief of Staff and currently serves on the General Board of Trustees. He provides services in both Obstetrics and Gynecology exclusively at Sierra Providence Eastside Medical Center. He has a well-established patient base but still accepts a limited number of new patients.
Dr. Noe has also been active with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has in the past served as the Secretary / Treasurer and Chair of Section One, District Eleven (West Texas). He has been very active in promoting women’s health issues at a local, state and national level.
Dr. Noe is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and maintains that certification yearly through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
